Confindustria is the main representative association of manufacturing and service companies in Italy. It represents over 150,000 small, medium and large enterprises, with a total workforce of approximately 5.4 million employees. It is the institutional point of reference for dialogue between the Italian business world and national and European institutions.

A network of Confindustrie
Confindustria Est Europa is the federation bringing together the national Confindustrie of Central-Eastern Europe. Founded in October 2010 as Confindustria Balcani, it now represents a network through which over 1,000 Italian companies operate in the region. It coordinates the member associations, strengthens relations among the countries in the network and supports the Italian business community working there, developing industrial partnerships and relations with local institutions.

Who leads the federation
The network is led by President Patrizio Dei Tos and Director Irena Brajovic, together with the bodies representing the member national Confindustrie.
